Strasbourg, France (AHN) – The European Court of Human Rights rejected a bid by a known car racer to limit news on celebrity indiscretions. The ruling comes at a time that bloggers are circumventing super injunctions issued by British courts in favor of celebrities by posting a list of notorious celebrities on Twitter. The ECHR decision is an offshoot of a case filed by Max Mosley, former president of the governing body of Formula One auto racing. Mosley asked the court to require news organizations to inform the subjects of their article before publishing stories about celebrity indiscretions. Mosley filed the lawsuit [...] Continue Reading…

May 11, 2011 Author: admin |

The reason for this is that unlike the economy which has been on a downhill, the cost of insurance is increasing. With many thanks to the likes of uninsured motorists and poor drivers, collisions are raising the rates of car insurance at an alarming rate. And with these statistics rising, it can be very easy to consider making cuts on the car insurance policy. While it is true that in many states liability insurance is the only mandated insurance requirement, that [...] Continue Reading…

Darlington, SC, United States (AHN Sports) – Regan Smith came out of nowhere on a final green-white-checkered finish and edged Carl Edwards to win Saturday night in the Showtime Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. It was Smith’s inaugural NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win in his 105th start — even though he has been the first to cross the finish line. Three years ago he was the first across the finish line at Talladega, but NASCAR ruled he went below the yellow line and granted the win to Tony Stewart. “I’ve got to thank the fans and Furniture Row. They’ve stuck me behind [...] Continue Reading…
